.HAPPY LOVE DAY.

Wishing you lovelies a very sweet Valentine's today ♥
I was delighted to see my workplace decorated with a very rosy atmosphere earlier today. It was certainly quite an effort for those who planned the surprise. They had a rose stalk with a petite, glass vase by each of our desks and a lot more stalks just waiting at the counter. Just in case...one of us wants to take one home. I guess...why not? ;) Hope you all are having a wonderful day spending with your loved ones :)

ps. I discovered this wonderful heart-shaped wallpaper DIY pom poms right after work today and I thought it's a marvelous idea to share it with all of you today.

STEP 1 // Stack 4 to 8 {I always use more to create a fuller pom-pom but for the hear you would need larger and smaller pom-poms} 20-by-30-inch sheets of tissue. Make 1 1/2-inch-wide accordion folds, creasing with each fold. You will need a total of 30 pom-poms. Optional: mIx tissue paper in different colors.

STEP 2 // Fold an 18-inch piece of floral wire in half, and slip over center of folded tissue; twist. With scissors, trim ends of tissue into rounded shapes.

STEP 3 // Separate layers, pulling away from center one at a time.

STEP 4 // Bend wire into a loop to fit around napkin, and twist end around loop to secure.

.WE THE PEOPLE.

I guess I'd share a bit on my recent Instagrammer crush, Jessie Bush @wethepeoplestyle to you all ♥ I've been following her blog for quite a while already but I just recently discovered her Instagram a few days ago, whose feed immediately sucked me in. I am a sucker when it comes to Jessie's pretty photos, no really...I'm afraid she might be a bit hassled by my 'like' notifications. Pardon me but yeah Jessie, keep doing what you're doing. You are way too awesome! xx

ps. And if you haven't seen what magic Jessie does with her camera, head over to her blog here to find out. Code name // WETHEPEOPLESTYLE.

.HOME | DESIGNLYKKE.

Sweet as minimalist and clean interior design inspirations from Henriette, the creative director and DIY genius behind DESIGNLYKKE. I first discovered her blog through Yenny's latest instagram feed on Henriette's marble macbook creation. The first few seconds reading her blog dragged out into minutes and a full forty minutes or so, of active note-taking from solid, clean shades to asymmetric patterns and geometric shaped covers. You know it. This could all be useful for my future home ahem..

ps. This is my first black and white inspirations post. I haven't really done a lot of moodboard posts lately (you can prove it in my overloaded 800+ posts archive...) and even more, in black and white. Why the sudden change? So I came across Brydie's new post and couldn't help myself from clicking at the links and bam - I discovered Steffano's amazing portfolio, like gold in sand. There's definitely going to be a post solely on his photos next up but if you're interested, you can check out his portfolio here. So I hope you like it ! xx
