.INSTAGRAM @CATHERINELIEM.

Time seems to fly really quick this year and before you know it, February's already here. I guess it's always a nice idea to update a bit of my Instagram to you all. If you follow me, you would know that I am an avid Instagrammer - uploading multiple pictures each day on average. Details. Scenery. But most of all, lots of colour. If you would like to be part of the roll, simply check out my account at @catherineliem here and I hope you'll like it :)

You can find out what the pictures are all about in the file description and here ↓
• Fresh flowers during my morning trip to the grocers • Topshop wishlist via @fashioninmysoul • Beautiful hydrangea summer blooms during my visit to Werribee gardens • My daily power smoothie packed in Vit Cs and the like • Trying on some colourful summer jumpsuits at Chadstone • Zara skort wishlist • Southbank promenade relics. What an eyecndy • Exploring more of Chinatown • Spending Chinese New Year festival at Richmond with Friska • Can't miss bibimbap on my last night in Sydney • Season's greetings from the Glen • Merry Christmas from BIC, my beloved church • Selfie • Sending Christmas love from Melbourne Central SC • Frolicking over all the yummu confectioneries and sweets at Crown • Beautiful gardens in front of Carlton Town Hall • Dad's birthday lunch at Binh Minh...so much food! • Good old homecooked salmon  steak for dinner. Beats any restaurant out there • Sunset by the Yarra. Definitely one of my favourite niches in town!

.WERRIBEE WANDERS.

.Personal Diary.

Once upon a Friday, me and my friend explored around this little jewel of a reserve at Werribee. If you have been there, you probably know there is a zoo, some botany, and a mansion (and a good high tea place at that too!) Unfortunately, we were unable to access the balcony overlooking the beautiful landscape of the entire Werribee floral garden. Well that small loss didn't really matter because we got to see a wedding ceremony there whilst sunsoaking out on the open grass. I will miss moments like these ♥

So yeah, that is all from Werribee :) I guess this is one of the first posts you will see my face in front of the camera. I am generally the photographer behind the lens. Personally, I see myself to be highly awkward in front of the camera (and I guess that's why I chose to create a general fashion news blog instead of a personal style blog...). This is one of my rare 'personal diary' entries and I hope you love it. Always trying to post more of these goodies in the future!

xx

autumn and all the rest.

I need a holiday...
Bagel date at Manchester Press, Melbourne. Love the run-down, woody feel of this place. There's definitely a next time!
Crisp dancing shades of red.
More CBD lovin'...St Paul's Cathedral just opposite Flinders Street station.
Such a lovely decoration in a shopping centre :)
Isle of Skye in Scotland easily tops my travel destination wishlist with this surreal view.
Stocking up on cozy knits for the coming winter...woops it's already here!
Got this pastel pink beauty from Acne today! Some reckon bloggers are simply label-obsessed but the truth is we know which labels are definitely worth the price because of their great quality. Trust me on this being a lasting winter 'investment' :)
Some personal snaps I took throughout May and June so far. First uni exams are coming up and I have to say, I love you multiple choice! (I'm just never good with short answer questions....) Hope you're having a fantastic week like I did too. Gotta get back to the books now though. See you soon ♥

city stroll.

Street art at Hosier Lane, Melbourne. My favourite has to be the first one. Amazing!
Sneaked in and out of St. Paul's Cathedral, just next to Federation Square...right before their evening service started. It was such a lucky call to witness such colossal grandeur this cathedral has...

Me checking out the goodies at Daiso Melbourne- the new Japanese superstore. Definitely the boss in beauty and skincare products, as well as the cutest miniatures <3
New leather fancy from Tony Bianco. Stomping in these nearly everyday now...so good!
Favourite family dish: Barramundi in sweet and sour sauce. Me and my family always orders this dish when coming to our local favourite Chinese restaurant in town.
I completely went crazy on Instagram on my birthday two days ago. It started out as some free time chilling in the city, but I guess some places are just too difficult to resist from me taking out my phone and being all tourist-y...Love you Melbourne! xx
